At Nagu, we believe that a card is never just paper: it is a gesture that holds emotions, memories, and bonds that endure over time. Since our beginnings, we have been inspired by the tradition of the great greeting card houses that managed to transform simple messages into a universal language of affection.

Our story began in 2020, in Spain, within an Italian-Swiss family made up of a couple and their two young children. In the midst of global uncertainty, we felt the need to bring our loved ones closer through authentic gestures, at a time when embracing or visiting had become difficult. What started as a family game — writing and designing special cards to send to grandparents, uncles, and friends — soon became a way of keeping our bonds alive despite the distance.

We quickly realised that these small creations did not only bring joy to those who received them, but also awakened profound emotions. Friends and relatives began asking us for cards for their own occasions, and so, what was born as a personal and intimate gesture evolved into a business idea with a clear mission: to bring back to the world the magic of giving words with intention.

Each of our cards is designed to be unique, just like every person and every moment they celebrate. We are committed to thoughtful design, personalisation, and emotion, because we know that no two “I love yous”, no two “thank yous”, and no two “congratulations” are ever the same.
